Porsche PCM5 Carplay & Android Auto Activation
Activate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in your Porsche that has PCM5 headunit to enjoy a safer driving experience. Apple Carplay and Android Auto is capable of showing useful apps like Waze, Google Maps, Spotify, Apple Music and much more. Siri is also integrated within Carplay, to provide a more enhanced hands free experience.
Using our smart activation solution, we can easily activate Porsche Smartphone Link in your Porsche if you have a PCM5 stereo/headunit in your car. PCM5 only offer half screen Carplay, which a lot users don’t like. We are able to upgrade the headunit to Fullscreen Carplay so it uses the full widescreen.
Along with this, we also activate Android Auto which PCM5 does not come with from factory. Android Auto will function fully integrated and similar to Carplay, as if it was installed in the car from factory. All of this is done using software solution, which means you don’t have to install any additional hardware in your Porsche.

How can this be done on your car?
Our Workshop: You will need to drive down to our workshop in Bradford and have us activate your PCM5
Remotely: You will need to a few things to allow us to carry out this update remotely, once you have these we can connect and carry out rest of the coding ourselves.

A safer way to use your mobile phone while travelling in your car. Apple CarPlay & Android Auto allow you to seamlessly integrate your mobile phone with your car’s head unit. You are able to use apps such as Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, Apple Music and many more supported apps. It even allows you to integrate calls, text and music. Porsche you have to connect your phone via cable and it will start Carplay/Android Auto.
