AppConnect Built In

Our version of the VW 8″ RCD Pro headunit comes packed with features for both Apple iPhone and Android phone users. RCD Pro has AppConnect built in which offers Apple Carplay and Android Auto. You simply plug your phone in to the USB port using a charging cable and you will unlock a host of features such as Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, YouTube Music and more (downloaded on your phone). Please be aware unlike us, some sellers only offer Apple Carplay on their units.
    

8″ Touch Screen

RCD Pro headunit has a 8″ touch screen built in to the radio making it easier to navigate through the radio and browse for your needs when driving. Apple Carplay & Android Auto can also be accessed through the touch screen which is really useful when driving. All your standard menus such as Radio, Media, Phone, Settings etc are all navigated using the amazing HD touch screen.

Front and Rear USB Ports

A highly requested feature from our previous RCD360 units was the addition of an extra USB port at the back in order to the wires from the front of the unit and make it look nice and sleek. We’ve now added a USB port at the back of the radio which can be used to connect your phone to Carplay and Android Auto. You can even plug in a wireless Carplay dongle.

Touch Buttons

Mimicking the newer MIB2.5 screen, the bigger 8″ screen comes with touch buttons at the side which allow you to navigation through the various menus and settings. This gives your car and headunit a much more modern feel and completely transforms your old VW interior.

Bluetooth Telephone & Audio

Don’t have Bluetooth Audio on your current VW Radio? Don’t worry! Our RCD Pro stereo has Bluetooth Telephone and Audio that will allow you to connect your phone via Bluetooth and receive calls and play music through the car’s speakers. No additional hardware or modules needed for this to work.

Steering Wheel Controls & Parking Sensor Display

Unlike many other aftermarket stereos, RCD Pro will function with your vehicle’s multifunctional steering wheel controls so you can truly enjoy a journey full of comfort and drive safely. If you have OEM Parking sensors, our headunit will automatically show a visual display of your parking sensors when you engage the reverse gear.

Analogue Radio FM/AM

RCD Pro headunit uses your existing radio antenna to connect to your local radio stations. You retain the OEM style and feel whilst listening to your favourite FM or AM radio. We include a double fakra to single fakra with all our RCD Pro units so you can use your existing radio antenna.

USB & SD Card

There are many different ways to enjoy music in your car with RCD Pro unit including Bluetooth, AppConnect, USB & SD Card. Built in to the front of the unit is a USB and SD Card port that can be used to listen to your favourite songs.

OEM Camera is not compatible. It won’t work, unless you get additional adapter.
DynAudio will need work but ONLY after getting the car coded.
