• For VW MIB Headunit. 2013 – 2019
• Works with MIB1 and MIB2
• Golf MK7, Passat B8, Polo. Only for cars with headunit in the glovebox.
• If you car has MEDIA IN Port: You will need to get AUX to AMI Adapter separately or get Aux coded in to your system. AUX must be selected from car’s media source in order to get Audio from Carplay/Android Auto Box. If you switched to radio? You will need to select Aux again to get audio from Carplay box
• Some manual cars need a wire running from the Carplay box to reverse light in order to automatically switch to parking sensors/reverse camera

Yes. You need to make sure Aux is selected if you want sound from Carplay box. If you listen to radio/usb and want to use Carplay box for sound, you need to switch over to Aux.
